My first attempt shooting the launch of the Space Shuttle, this was the Space Shuttle Discovery. This was taken on the bridge in Titusville that leads to the Wildlife Refuge. I really wasn't planning on going over there till last minute. These were shot with my D200 and Sigma 50-500, and a monopod. The wind didn't exactly help either. I was lucky to get what I did.
Definitely a lot trickier than I thought. Kudos to  for his shuttle photos which I thought were awesome to start with, but after shooting this myself, I have a greater appreciation of the quality of his shots of the orbiter. You can check out his photo HERE |
